Oxygen Index and Temperature Index Apparatus ;6; Type Parameter Requirement of the laboratory The apparatus to estimate the Oxygen Index & Temperature Index shall be fully automatic with touch screen panel. The touch screen panel shall indicate all key parameters and should have provision set necessary parameters. The apparatus shall comply with IS:10810(Part 58):1998 & IS:10810 (Part 64): 2003 to determine the minimum percentage of Oxygen required to support the flame combustion of material at room temperature or at higher temperature. Test column 3 Sensor 4 5 Shall be of transparent and radiant heated double wall test Colum with minimum 75mm internal diameter and shall have minimum height of 450mm (Cl.5.1 of Embedded heaters. IS:10810(Part 58):1998) and Two numbers of additional test column as a spare should be provided (total three) Oxygen sensor / analyzer shall be, paramagnetic type with Range: 0-100%, Accuracy: ±0.02% or better Oxygen Concentration Shall be displayed, on the touch screen, in % scale with a resolution of 0.1% or better Flow Analyzer Digital MEMS Flow Sensor shall be used and flow rate shall be displayed on the touch screen in ml/min, range shall be 0-500 ml/min Flow controllers 6 7 Shall be of automatic digital flow controller with Oxygen: 0-20 L/min, Nitrogen: 0-20 L/min and flow rate shall be displayed on the touch screen. Flow control system Shall be a Fully Automatic Control System. Suitable PLC and other hardware and software shall be provided to make the system fully automatic.
