How to Register on GeM Portal as Seller
Creation of Seller Account or Primary User on GeM Portal-
Open the GeM Portal

Select the 'Sign up' option on the screen and then select Seller

The system will open the terms and conditions on a new screen. Please read them and then click on the radio button to confirm

Select the type of Organisation and enter the name

Enter the Aadhaar Number or PAN Number of the Primary User

Enter the mobile number attached to Aadhaar / PAN Number

Enter the OTP received on said number

Verify the name and confirm

Enter the email ID of the Primary User and then re-enter it

Verify and enter the OTP received in email

The system will confirm the OTP and allow the user to create a User ID and password

Enter the user ID and password

Click on ‘Confirm primary user’ option

The primary User ID is created.
To be precise, there is no GeM Portal Registration Fees for any seller. The GeM Portal Registration process is entirely free for all sellers and businesses.

Any Organisation or Individual that Intends to currently do business with the Government of India in the Public Procurement Sector should register on GeM Portal.
Any government organisations that want to procure these services and products must Register as a Buyer on the GeM Portal.
